This next publication is my first in the magazine called Focus. In this edition, Issue 2015-2, February 2015, I got the opportunity to publish my story and pictures from the project 'The other side'. The other side is one of my macro photography projects, which I'm very content about. I'm thrilled it got the attention of the respected and long existing Dutch photography magazine Focus.
During the making of I used different chemicals (sorbitol 70% in combination with water to create drops in various sizes and shapes. By determining the angle and intensity of the sunlight I managed to create 'outher earthlike' creations, through controlling the refraction ratio. The surface on which the drops where planted is a DVD+R DL. I used a large aperture (F32-F40), to create maximum depth of field.
