I had a tremendous experience, met a lot of inspiring and lovely people and had hell of a blast at the Masters of LXRY. My project 'The other side' was a succes. The fusion of pharmacy, chemistry and photography impressed a lot of people. I was glad to be part of such a great event on this massive scale. Enjoy this video (my work at 0:23) and short photo impression of my work at the event. There has been a lot of publicity around this event. I had a great time doing my first maternity shoot with a lovely couple. Rana was about 33+ weeks during the shoot. I was able to "blend" them both in the surrounding quite well. The lighting circumstances were outstanding for this type of shoots. Here is my humble coverage of the day, enjoy!
I was pleased to be able to shoot my first wedding. It was nice to see the bride Anna and the groom Karol shine as we walked through the picturesque Rotterdam. Here are my favorite shots from the day.
Before the big day Aniko and Olaf wanted to have a killer save the date shoot. The creative mind came from Aniko herself. As a photographer I had to manouvre myself above the couple on a ladder, which was kind of exciting. I was pleased with the result and happy to hear the picture was going to be published in a big bride and groom magazine called 'Bruid en Bruidegom', third edition 2014. Check out the original and published picture below. I can call this the first original publication of my work in a magazine.
Technical information: Nikon D7100, Nikon AF-S 50mm F/1.4G, Nikon AF-S DX 18-105mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. A great collaboration with a very talented artist Michiel Kuijper I was pleased to visit this great exhibition. Michiel is an upcoming drawer who mainly draws with pencils, charcoal and drybrush. His work reflects a great passion of his. It was a day of inspiration and I had a lot of fun working with him. Enjoy my short coverage of his part of the exhibition. For more work from Michiel Kuijper visit his Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Michiel-Art-Works/171138799703377 I was honored to be asked to cover this beautiful day. I had mixed feelings about this remembrance day of the death of Nima Naghipour. Firstly because Nima was a dear friend who passed away too early (at the age of 27). And secondly to be part of the opening of this beautiful exposition, which featured works of his father and talented artist Behrouz Naghipour and in presence of his loving mother Azam Ehsany. This album only gives a small impression of the day, which was filled with love and life! |
